Shadows of War and Human Resilience
During the first months of the war, I traveled through a world torn apart. At train stations in Warsaw and Lublin, and along the Ukraine-Poland border zone, I encountered people in the most vulnerable moments of their journey. Mothers with weary children, elderly individuals who had left everything behind, young people filled with both fear and hope.
Each photograph is a testament to human dignity. Faces that tell stories of courage, of lost homes but unbroken spirit. These images capture moments of pain, but also of extraordinary resilience — how people rise, support each other, continue to dream in the midst of catastrophe.
