Portraits of stranger
In the project Portraits of Stranger, I explore the portrait as construction, memory, and body.
The starting point is found photographs — anonymous faces that once carried identity and gaze, now given new meanings through physical gestures and material interventions.
The series consists of two parts: In the first, the male portrait is deconstructed through wire, staples, and repetition — a gradual dismantling of the image of power and control. In the second, I approach the female portrait through small organic objects — berries, leaves, glass, and seeds — where touch replaces gaze and intimacy becomes a form of resistance.
Together, they form a reflection on anonymity, vulnerability, and the body of memory within photography.
